Miss International 2013: Know The Runner Ups Casey Radley and Nathalie den Dekker
Another beauty contest, another Filipina. After Miss World 2013 crown was bagged by Megan Young from Philippines when the beauty pageant season kicked off, the year concluded with Bea Rose Santiago, another beautiful Filipina winning another coveted crown for the country, Miss International 2013. Miss Netherlands Nathalie den Dekker was the runner-up, while Miss New Zealand Casey Radley came third in the contest that concluded in Japan on Tuesday night.
So let's know more about the other two winners. It is not the first time that Miss Netherlands has won a title. In fact Nathalie den Dekker was also crowned Miss Universe Netherlands 2012 and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant as well. Den Dekker is a beauty with brains. The 22-year-old Dutch beauty has studied law at university and aspired to become a lawyer! She loves reading books, spending time with friends and family, and also likes swimming. Dekker's confidence is one of the key traits in her personality that helped her win the competition.
Miss New Zealand Casey Radley is another beautiful person who deserved to win. The Torbay resident, 20, was runner-up to Miss World NZ, Ella Langsford, from Ponsonby. The beautiful lady won the best interview, beach fashion swimwear and the Sarah Horton Evening and Bridal Design award earlier in her hometown show.
The grand finale of the 53rd Miss International beauty pageant was held at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The top 15 semi-finalists are from the countries: Gibraltar, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Hungary, Netherlands, USA, Philippines, New Zealand, Lithuania, Iceland, Colombia, Russia, Thailand and Spain. The event was broadcast live by the Miss International pageant on Ustream.
The top 15 semi-finalists, from the 72 participants, of the 53rd edition of the beauty pageant are from the countries: Gibraltar, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Hungary, Netherlands, USA, Philippines, New Zealand, Lithuania, Iceland, Colombia, Russia, Thailand and Spain.
