The other day, 20 Miss Universe contestants headed to the raceway to drive super-fast cars at Mercedes-AMG track. Miss Universe Philippines Ariella Arida was one of the contestants at the Mercedes-AMG track. She was also one of the five contestants to do a photo shoot for a special event of Mercedes-Benz.

Ara Arida is the only Asian contestant among the five contestants selected for Mercedes-Benz commercial. The four other Miss Universe 2013 contestants are Miss Austria 2013 Doris Hoffman, Miss Poland 2013 Paulina Krupinska, Miss Germany 2013 Anne-Julia Hagen and Miss Mexico Cynthia Duque.

Excited Ariella Arida posted a photograph on her Instagram page. In the photo, she looked all set to ride the beast of cars - Mercedes-Benz AMG model.

Arida dedicated her Mercedes-Benz selection to Philippines. "More thrilling than a space shuttle ride!! Wuhoooo!! #missuniverse #forthephilippines," she titled the photograph. Check out the photo, here.

Arida will be featured in Mercedes-Benz TV commercial that will run for weeks on the small screen. She is currently, one of the favourite contestants and loved by fans across the globe.

MU Philippines 2013 also feels that she is fortunate to be interviewed by top fashion publications and channels.

"I was likewise fortunate to have been interviewed by the Fashion Channel in Russia and another by Fashion TV," she said, obtained via ABS-CBNNews.

During the rehearsals for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week she met Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo.

"Olivia's gorgeous! It was also a thrill to be part of the Fashion Week in Russia and the huge show that was sponsored by Mercedes-Benz. All the pieces we wore were elegant and classy. I never imagined I missed walking the runway that much," Arida commented.

Filipinos and her fans across the world are speculating that she will surpass her last three predecessors, namely, Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup and Janine Tugonon and win the Miss Universe 2013 contest.
