November 9, 2013 marks the day when the new Miss Universe was crowned in Moscow, Russia which was held in Crocus City Hall. Miss Venezuela Gabriella Isler was crowned as the 62nd Miss Universe after Olivia Culpo of USA won her title on December 2012 in Las Vegas, USA.

Isler bested 85 other contestants from across the world including top favorites Miss USA Erin Brady, Miss Philippines Ariella Arida and Miss Spain Patricia Yurena Rodriguez. The Venezuelan beauty is the 7th Miss Universe of Venezuela after Stefania Fernandez who won in 2009 after Dayana Mendoza who won the crow in 2008.

Venezuela has proven once again that they are the country to beat when it comes to producing the best of beauty queens around the world. With 7 Miss Universe on its belt, Venezuela has remained on the top of the list of countries who won the title on its 62 years of pageant history.

The 86 contestants for this year's pageant are judge in three main categories: the evening gown round, swimwear round and the final round, the question & answer portion during the final night. In the interview portion, the final top 5 candidates were tasked to pick a judge that will ask them their final question.

Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler (Venezuela)

Question: What is your biggest fear and how do you plan to overcome it?

Answer: We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger. As soon as we overcome our fears, we can face any challenge.

Miss Universe 2013 First Runner-up Patricia Yurena Rodriguez (Spain)

Question: What is the most significant thing we can do help elect women to political offices around the world?

Answer: In order to select a good woman, she must posses good qualities in order to do a good job - discipline, knows how to adapt... so she can fulfill her job.

Miss Universe 2013 Second Runner-up Constanza Baez (Ecuador)

Question: What would happen to the world if we could no longer use the internet?

Answer: Tech has disadvantages - we are no longer close with our families. We use the methodology of computers and internet for the positive. It is never too later to start. Let's start now.

Miss Universe 2013 Third Runner-up Ariella Arida (Philippines)

Question: What can be done about the lack of jobs for young people starting their career around the world?

Answer: I do believe we should invest in education - and that is my primary advocacy. ... Education is a primary source and a ticket for better future.

Miss Universe 2013 Fourth Runner-up Jakelyne Oliveira (Brazil)

Question: What is your opinion in places that do not allow women to vote, or drive cars?

Answer: Good evening everybody! In my opinion, we as women achieved our independence through time. Unfortunately nowadays we still have problems with our independence. But we need to keep our open minds because nowadays we are homemakers, part of a work force. We are capable of everything.
