The time has come when fans can vote for their favourite Miss Universe 2013 contestants. Votes by fans are crucial as they will play a key role in deciding the winner this year. When you vote for your favourite contestant, she will move on to the semi final round of MU 2013.

How to Vote for Your Favourite Miss Universe 2013 Contestant?

1. Go to Miss Universe contestants' page: This page lists all the MU contestants participating for the top prize. Here's the link of the page, click here.

2. Place the cursor on your favourite contestant: Take the cursor and place it on favourite contestant's picture. You will see - "Vote for Me!" Click on that.

3. Vote for the Next Miss Universe Pops up: As soon as you click on "Vote for Me," a window named Vote for the Next Miss Universe pops up.

4. Enter you email id: Start filling the form by entering a valid email id.

5. Pick a Country: Important! In this option you don't have to select your country of origin but the country you want to want for.

6. Rate the contestant: Rate your favourite contestant on a scale from 1-10. Remember - 1 is dislike and 10 is like.

7. Enter the security code: Key in the security code and it is not CAPS sensitive.

8. Click the box to certify that you are 16 years or older

9. Click the next box if you wish to receive emails regarding Miss Universe.

10. Click on VOTE to cast your vote.

After you successfully cast your vote, a window pops with this message - Thank You for Voting For Miss Universe XXXXX 2013 (Name of the Contestant). You can vote again if you wish to.

Important: Participants will be limited to 10 votes per email address per day.

How are the Votes Calculated?

MU producers will take the average of the total votes from the IP addresses coming from each country. Each country vote will be counted as 1 vote and will be averaged with all the other nation votes to give the participant a final score.

For instance, 800 people from Philippines vote for Miss Universe Philippines Ariella Arida and the average of these votes come to 8, and 200 people from Australia vote for Miss Universe Philippines and the average of those votes come to 6. Australia's country vote is 6 and Philippines country vote is 8 and they both are counted as 1 vote and the average gives Miss Universe Philippines a final score of 7.
