Miss Ghana Hanniel Jamin and Miss Myanmar Moe Set Wine are the most popular contestants of the Miss Universe 2013 pageant but for different reasons.

Hanniel Jamin has become popular owing to the media reports that she will not be participating in Miss Universe 2013 pageant. Rather, she will be replaced by the first-runner up. The speculations regarding her non-participation in Miss Universe 2013 contest started when the 19-year-old beauty reported that her runner ups are trying to replace her.

Regarding her replacement she has posted on Facebook "Someone is trying to impersonate me, Hanniel Jamin by representing me as the Miss Universe Ghana 2013 at the Miss Universe Int'l 2013 pageant in Moscow Russia.... Now I see why I was kidnapped on the 3rd of September 2013.Please Miss Universe Organization Worldwide, Pageantology, Missosology, Russian Embassy, Ghanaian and Russian Immigration, and the Media please take note."

She is a undergraduate student at the Radford University and is model by professions. Jamin was crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2013 at La Palm Royal Hotel in Accra on Friday, 24 May, 2013.

Meanwhile, Moe Set Wine, is the first delegate in more than 50 years to represent Myanmar in Miss Universe 2013 pageant. The beauty queen is already been talked about for belonging to a conservative country which is at the helm of revolution. Moe Set Wine even admitted to Bangkokpost.com that her countrymen are worried about her walking the stage in a bikini, as it is not a part of their culture.

Wine is already on the list of probable winners and her soaring popularity could very well work in her favor. She has completed her higher education from California and has great communication skills.
