The Miss Universe 2013 pageant will see participation of 87 beauties from all around the world. Now that the days of participation are numbered, the preparations are in full swing and each contestant is putting her best foot forward for the competition. However, there will only be one lucky lady who would take the glory back home. Here are our top three predictions for the Miss Universe 2013 winner.

Miss Philippines 2013: Ariella Arida is the strongest bet for the Miss Universe crown. She is following a strict diet regime under the vigilance of Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BCPI) Madam Stella Marquez Araneta. Arida won Miss Universe-Philippines on April 14, 2013 and was judged best in the swimsuit round. Indeed she has the best swimsuit body amongst the contestants, thus increasing her chances of winning the crown. Owing to her participation in Miss Philippines Earth, her experience in handling the pressures of a beauty pageant are manifold as compared to her counterparts.

Miss Austria 2013: Austrian delegate, Doris Hofmann, is the most beautiful contestant of the Miss Universe 2013 pageant. Raised in Steyr, Doris has an angelic face and beautiful blonde hair. Doris's motto in life is to bring small changes in the world by her little deeds. Her innocence and honesty are something which may impress the pageant judges.

Miss Australia 2013: Olivia Wells, the black horse of the pageant, has all what it takes to win a competition. Wells is a medical student and dreams to work as a doctor in developing countries. Olivia Wells is extremely talented and is a fitness freak. She has been incessantly practicing aerobics to get her body in shape. Olivia's determination to help people through her medical profession can prove to be her trump card in the contest. Wells is also a Procrasti-baker.
