Miss Philippines candidate Ariella Arida is all set to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant. She is in the midst of pageant preparations and is not only working on her body but also perfecting her pageant walk. Arida showed her signature walk in an interview with ANC news channel.

She has her own style of walking on the stage and calls it the "Miss Universe Walk". She told ANC, "I'm claiming it. When you glide, you feel like there's air always, and you're floating."

For two consecutive years, Filipino beauties have developed their own style of walking. Miss Janine Tugonon has her "cobra walk" while Miss Shamcey Supsup refers her style as the "tsunami walk."

Arida is excited to take the Miss Universe stage and is already on her flight to Moscow. Before leaving for the contest she revealed her feeling about the pageant to Rappler.com, "I'm emotional. I feel like crying. I'm very excited. Last night, I was so emotional, I don't know why. I started to check the pictures of my friends. I felt like I won't see them until next year, after I win (laughs) ! I'm super excited."

She further told the website that for the big day she has prepared a mantra where she feels she is the most beautiful woman and is a queen. Arida had this mindset during the Bb. Pilipinas which got her where she is today.

Arida has undergone a lot of training in her bid to win the crown. About her winning chances she said, "I feel complete, and I already feel like I'm a winner. I've learned how to embrace my insecurities and my weaknesses. It was very hard to do that at the start. Right now, I'm ready to face anything. I know I will meet many pretty girls there, but I won't feel insecure. I know in my heart I'm complete already. I'm a winner already."

The beauty queen will be competing for the Miss Universe 2013 title on Nov. 9 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.
