Today is the day, and all the suspense and the waiting seems unbearable for most Miss Universe fans for tonight's MU Preliminary Competition, the Swimwear and Evening Gown portion. Scheduled to kick off at 11 ET, the 62^nd Miss Universe edition will be held at Crocus City Hall in Russia's capital, Moscow.

The Preliminary Competition will carry a huge weight for the final score in choosing the Top 5 candidates who will advance for the final stage of the competition, the Question and Answer portion. The 86 delegates from all over the world will be judge tonight in the cat walk skills, physique, grace, poise and elegance which could be quite tiring for the judges, and it pays for these contestants to already establish a name to get notice before the final night.

It was recently reported that Miss Philippines Ariella Arida won the Ice Princesses Glam Shoot and this could play a big advantage for her in the competition. Known as the frontrunner for this year's MU pageant, Arida's fate is still vague but for sure all eyes would be watching her for tonight's preliminary competition.
