Miss Universe 2013: Q and A Portion--Who Should've Gotten the Crown
The leggy beauty Maria Gabriela Isler from Venezuela bagged the Miss Universe 2013 held in Moscow, Russia. It might have been a surprise for some, but the stunning beauty sure did deliver with her tight-hugging evening gown. Isler rocked the staged with her toned body, especially seen in her skimpy swimsuit catwalk for the pageant.
Aside from her rock-hard abs and toned derriere, Isler also won the crown because of her winning response to Steve Tyler's question: "WHAT is YOUR biggest fear and how do YOU plan to overcome it?" The 5'11" beauty answered with "We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger. As soon as we overcome our fears, we can face any challenge..."
While some are satisfied with her answer, others have raised their eyebrows with the decision of the current Miss Universe. People took their dismay to Twitter claiming that Miss Universe is no longer based on the quality of the answers. The non-sequitur answer of Miss Venezuela has definitely caused many people to doubt her credibility as the most beautiful woman in the 'universe'.
The other questions for the Top 5 girls ranged from political to economic ones, whereas Miss Venezuela's question was deemed tad 'personal' and typically catch-all statement.
Meanwhile, crowd favorite Arielle Arida's fans took their disappointment to various social networking accounts claiming that the Asian beauty should have won the competition, as she was the only one "who did not have an interpreter".
Could it be that Miss Venezuela just got lucky with her choice of question? Or does she really have what it takes to be 2013's Miss Universe?
Prior to gaining the title, Isler served the Venezuelan public with her svelte figure as a regular fashion model. She bested 4 other ravishing Latinas and one exotic Asian.
