The Miss Universe's integral role is the charitable platform battling the cause against HIV/AIDS epidemic. It is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of lives of people living with HIV/AIDS in Latin America and the Caribbean and empowering them and their caregivers by providing access to medication, medical monitoring and treatment/prevention education and promoting leadership and capacity-building.

This nonprofit organization is devoted to form a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Elizabeth Glaser Paediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF)
This non-profit organization is committed to preventing pediatric HIV infection and eliminating pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention, care and treatment programs. Founded in 1988, EGPAF works in 15 countries around the world.

It is a volunteer-supported and community-based not-for-profit organization committed to leading the fight against AIDS in a national platform.
