Miss Universe Vs Miss World: Filipinos Ariella Arida, Megan Young Can Grab The Double Victory

Apparently Filipino beauty Ariella Arida is the hot flavour of the global pageant industry this year. This time Filipino beauties could do what Indian beauty queens did twice with international beauty pageants.

In 1994, Sushmita Sen won the Miss Universe crown and in the same year, Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss World.
In 2000, Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra repeated the victory.

Apparently it is the Philippines' time to rule the beauty world with similar victories. Megan Lynne Young, the 23-year-old (Filipino -American) beauty won Miss World 2013 crown amidst many controversies and protest by hardliner Islamists. Now all of us are expecting the similar victory from Miss Philippines Ariella Arida on Miss Universe 2013 going to held on 9th November, Saturday, at Crocus City Hall, Moscow.

As we have earlier predicted, Ariella Arida is a hot pick for Miss Universe 2013 hence she is having a great chance to do the double crown for the Philippines. The 24-year-old 5 feet, 7.5 inches tall Arida is a runway model and previously a contender at the Miss Philippines-Earth 2012. She enjoys outdoor games and is a chemistry graduate from the University of the Philippines Los Banos.
