Miss India World 2013 Navneet Kaur Dhillon won the Multimedia Award for India at the Miss World 2013 pageant in Bali. This is the second time in a row that India has bagged this award.

The award was first introduced in 2012 by the Miss World Organization,and Vanya Mishra from India won the award for the nation.

The Multimedia Award is declared on how contestants use their virtual or web section of the Miss World website as well as a Facebook page. They have to interact with fans via photos, videos and status updates. The contestant with maximum updates, likes, and shares by fans earn points on the scoreboard and finally the points help her win the Multimedia Award.

Miss India Navneet's active interaction clubbed with regular updates about the experiences at the Miss World 2013 contest helped her win the award. She posted self-click photos and videos on a regular basis. Navneet raised awareness about the rare Sumatran Tigers with proactive updates through photos and videos.

As of now, the page assigned to Navneet has more than 1,20,000 fans and posts reach over 1,000,000 people a week, according to India Today. She posted interactive photo posts, elegant cover photos and interacted with her fans on a regular basis.

Miss Thailand and Miss Nepal were closely competing with Navneet for the Multimedia Award, but Miss India's tireless web efforts with quality updates stood out and she bagged the prestigious award.

Apart from Multimedia Award, Miss World contest also gives out Beauty with a Purpose award. This award is given to the contestant who works for a charitable cause and help those who need it. Navneet was in Top 10 chart by bagging the 9th position. She worked tirelessly and joined hands with Pureit Brand of Hindustan Unilever Ltd to spread the awareness about importance of consuming safe and clean drinking water in India. She along with Pureit's NGO partner Integrated Village Development Program (IVDP) spent a few days in the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu.
