‘Mission Impossible’ 5 Casting News: Computer Hacker Luther Stickell To Return
The director of "Mission Impossible" 5 has confirmed that Ving Rhames has been cast in the upcoming movie. The actor plays the role of computer hacker Luther Stickell in previous movies of the franchise.
"Mission Impossible" 5 is set to be released on Dec. 25, 2015 in the U.S. The movie will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The details of the plot and information of the full cast is still awaited. The latest movie from the franchise was released in the year 2011.
"Mission Impossible" 5 cast members, apart from Ving Rhames, includes Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg. The director welcomed the newly cast actor in a tweet and marked a "cc" to the other cast members in the same tweet.

Christopher McQuarrie has worked with Tom Cruise in previous popular movies like "Jack Reacher" and "Valkyrie." The director has also worked in the movie "The Usual Suspects" and the TV series "Persons Unknown."
Ving Rhames has been associated with the "Mission Impossible" movie franchise from the very beginning. He was seen in the first movie released in the year 1996. Movie buffs who have seen the movie will remember him helping Ethan to break into a vault of the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
He has also appeared in the second and third instalments of the movie franchise. His main role has been to support Ethan Hunt, the American agent played by Tom Cruise. The actor also made a cameo appearance in the 2011 movie "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol." It has still not been officially confirmed if Ving Rhames will be reprising his role as Luther Stickell in the upcoming movie.
Ving Rhames has won a Golden Globe Award in 1998 for his role in "Don King: Only in America." The actor was also nominated for various other awards, including the Primetime Emmy Awards and Blockbuster Entertainment Awards.
In the 2011 movie, Ethan Hunt and his team travelled to Russia, U.A.E. and India. The plot of the movie involved stopping a terrorist from using the Russian nuclear launch codes. The filming locations for "Mission Impossible" 5 have still not been revealed by the producers.
