Mistaken Ivanka comments on Trump tweet

The wrong Ivanka, whom Donald Trump tagged, has shared her reaction when she learned about the president-elect's tweet. Ivanka Majic, the real name of the Twitter account owner, lives in Brighton, East Sussex and currently working as a digital consultant. Majic's Twitter handle was included in Trump's tweet because the president-elect was quoting a phrase from another user, who used the wrong handle.

It showed in the post above that the user tagged @Ivanka instead of Ivanka Trump's real handle, @IvankaTrump. Majic said that she has been regularly mistaken as Ivanka Trump. However, she said that it never happened on such a scale. She also mentioned that many Twitter users have accidentally mentioned her during the US election. During that time, she used a Twitter bot encouraging the users to vote for Hillary Clinton. She added that her handle was also confused with a Hungarian concrete company called Ivanka concrete.

Trump posted the tweet to praise his daughter on his account. He complimented his daughter as a woman with real character and class. When Majic learned that she was tagged in the post, she complimented Trump as a man with great responsibilities. However, she said that the president-elect should have more care on Twitter and to have more time learning about climate change. Trump's tweet was retweeted fast by social media users.

Majic said that calls from media informed her and her husband that she featured in a tweet to Trump's 20 million followers. She said that she received many notifications on her phone. The digital consultant added that it was very unusual to be speaking to ITV and BBC 45 minutes in a day.

Majic described Ivanka as a boring and popular Slavic name for girls. She was considering to change her username but has not yet come to a final decision. She said that she has used Twitter since 2007 but she doesn't use it often.
