The Arizona Diamondbacks announced their interest in signing Masahiro Tanaka to a lucrative deal, if they win the bidding war.

The Diamondbacks are reportedly willing to travel to Japan to meet Tanaka and his representatives in an attempt to get an All-Star caliber hurler.
