MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVA) 2013 is under way, and the show kicks off with a “Gangnam Style” from PSY. “Stop taking pictures and dance,” the Korean ‘gentleman’ told the cheering live audience. Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift and American Idol 2012 winner Phillip Phillips are some of the celebrities gracing and tweeting about MMVA.

The MMVA is an annual event presented by the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic to honour the year's best music videos. Justin Bieber, one of the country’s biggest international celebs, is nominated this year for Fave Artist and International Video by a Canadian. Taylor Swift also showed up for the fans at the red carpet, looking simple but chic. GLEE’s Naya Rivera tweeted about the event a day prior, building up more thrill for the fans. Naya tweeted: Hello Toronto! Super excited for the MMVA's tomorrow! Avril Lavigne also tweeted about MMVA a day ahead of the event:

The CW’s Arrow lead Stephen Amell is running for best cousin, so he brings along “@toribolte and her friends.” The soon-to-be daddy is looking very much a debonair gentleman as usual.

TV stars Lucy Hale, Kunal Nayyar, and music artist Ed Sheeran are also in attendance. As of press time, Justin Bieber has yet to show up at the MMVA event.
