Move over Tim Tebow, LeBron James just stole the internet.

Inspired by perhaps the greatest basketball player in the world today, there’s a new hit on the web called “Lebroning” in what is now becoming the next great Internet craze inspired by an athlete.

In 2013, “Tebowing” became popular as sports fans mimicked a Tebow stance during his (very short) time playing in the National Football League (NFL).

There’s even a dedicated site for all things Tebowing and shares a definition for the stance:

What is Tebowing?
(vb) to get down on a knee and start praying, even if everyone else around you is doing something completely different.

For reference, here’s the original Tebowing in video, courtesy of none other than Tebow himself via the ABC News YouTube Channel:

And to start 2014, the new craze “LeBroning” is attempting to take on a similar path as a number of hoops fans started uploading and sharing their videos copying LeBron.

First, here’s a link showing a collection of LeBron flops in recent memory and here’s probably the worst of them:

So what is LeBroning? Simply, it’s the act of falling back, flailing the arms and falling down--- at the slightest of contacts. Or in other words, basketball flopping in real life (All clips courtesy of their respective owners):

Unfortunately for LeBron, there is a marked difference between LeBroning vs. Tebowing: fans use it to mock his embarrassing flopping skills more than make a tribute to their sports hero.
