The situation arises after Gloria reportedly takes issue after she notices that Jay no longer cares about his appearance; she decides to give him a taste of his own medicine by refusing to fix herself up.
According to Spoilers Guide, Episode 4 entitled "Won't You Be Our Neighbor" is expected to welcome the appearance of Ronnie and Kim, played by Steve Zahn and Andrea Anders, respectively. The couple will move in next door to the Dunphys with whom they will form some kind of rivalry in what has been described as recurring guest roles.
Meanwhile, Haley Dunphy's on-and-off boyfriend Dylan played by Reid Ewing will be reprising his role in the upcoming season. Other minor characters like Dede Pritchett and Cam's parents Merle and Barb Tucker are some guests to watch out for in season 6.
Lily Tucker-Pritchett will be going to school, and as the actress Aubrey Anderson-Emmons grows up on set, she can be expected to have more lines and make more of an impact than she already has in past seasons. The feisty young Lily and her parents will be dealing with a new stern teacher, Mrs. Plank, played by guest star Tyne Daly.
