Summer is coming to an end and it's almost time for the premiere episode of "Modern Family." The five-time Emmy Award winning series premiers its sixth season on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. The first three episode titles have been released, as well as, new casting information.

The fifth season ended with the wedding of Cam Tucker and Mitchell Pritchett. They officially became the Tucker-Pritchetts family, along with their little adopted daughter, Lily. Despite the various mishaps and three false starts, the wedding pushed through and the pair are now married. They hinted in the finale that they intend to spend their honeymoon in Mexico and it seems that the next season will pick up right where they left off after the wedding. Here are the first three episode titles:

"Modern Family" Season 6, Episode 1: "The Long Honeymoon"

"Modern Family" Season 6, Episode 2: "Do Not Push"

"Modern Family" Season 6, Episode 3: "The Cold"

Apart from the first episode, not many clues can be derived from the other two episode titles. With a title such as "The Long Honeymoon," it can be expected that the trip won't be going exactly as planned in the true "Modern Family" fashion.

Meanwhile, in other big "Modern Family" news, veteran actor Steve Zahn is reportedly joining the cast in a recurring role as Ronnie, the head of the family who will be moving in next door to the Dunphys. Phil, Claire, Haley, Alex and Luke Dunphy will be dealing with Ronnie and his family and they are expected to be the neighbours from hell, which will provide some interesting TV moments. Zahn has most recently appeared in HBO's "Treme" and "Mind Games," which also aired on ABC like "Modern Family."

With filming still underway for the sixth season, members of the cast have been spotted during takes and most notable of which is the sexy Sophia Vergara. While her character Gloria is typically well-groomed and fashionably dressed, the trophy wife was seen looking scruffy, with unkempt hair and sweat pants while filming. Digital Spy posted photos of the scruffy Gloria while seemingly in an argument with husband Jay Pritchett.

It is expected that the sixth season will break Emmy records. If it wins the sixth consecutive award for "Best Comedy Series," it will overtake the record held by "Frasier." It remains to be seen if the upcoming season will once again capture the audience attention like the first five seasons did.
