'Modern Family' Star Sarah Hyland Becomes The Latest Victim Of Nude Photo Scandal Amid Domestic Violence Problems
Despite a blossoming career as one of the lead actresses in the highly successful comedy series "Modern Family," young star Sarah Hyland is finding herself in the middle of a series of controversies as of late. Just days ahead of yesterday's premiere of season 6 of the Emmy Award-winning series, Sarah was reported to have been a victim of domestic violence from her ex-boyfriend Matthew Prokop and she's also reportedly one of the latest victims of the leaked nude photo scandal that's been rocking Hollywood in the past several weeks.
Sarah is the latest young star to join a slew of other sexy actresses involved in the controversy. According to various websites, Sarah is now one of the victims of the nude photo scandal like Jennifer Lawrence, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian where a hacker allegedly gained access to the Apple iCoud accounts of targeted celebrities and leaked their private and revealing photos online. Apple has claimed that this is a targeted attack and that the entire security system of iCloud for regular users was not compromised. However, the article by Buzzfeed that allegedly reported the Sarah Hyland hacking, could not be found from the website.
Ironically, in the season premiere of "Modern Family," Sarah's character Haley Dunphy finds herself in a similar situation. She is called an online prostitute by her father in the show, Phil Dunphy, when he discovers that she had been inadvertently filming herself inside her room and broadcasting the footage live to thousands of viewers. Her character supposedly started a live fashion blog, but she didn't realise that she was leaving the webcam on much longer than she had intended and her viewers was treated to a footage of herself and her family in uncompromising situations.
Back in real life, Sarah's sexy photos have reportedly been leaked online without her consent. The Sydney Morning Herald reports that according to a Reddit discussion on the matter, the "Modern Family" star's photos while nude, do not show her face. Sarah has so far not made any statement on the matter. Other celebs have threatened legal action toward people who are continuing to post and share the photos while others have blatantly denied being the women in the photos, stating that the photos are fake.
The photo controversy came out in the same week that Sarah announced her breakup with her long time-boyfriend Matt Prokop. Showbiz website TMZ las learned that she has also filed a restraining order claiming that he choked her and threatened her life.
