Monday Night Football Week 12: San Francisco 49ers vs. Washington Redskins Live Streaming Information and Game Preview
Both Colin Kaepernick and Robert Griffin III were pegged to become NFL’s best quarterbacks for years to come after excellent effort last season. Those remarks have became doubtful at this point of the regular season as both players came under fire for poor play for the better part of the year.
Last season, Kaepernick carried San Francisco to an 11-4 record and the NFC West title, while RG3 led Washington to a 10-6 card and the NFC East title. Both of them and their respective teams are struggling this year.
The 49ers (6-4), which have lost back-to-back games, still have a chance to turn it around. although they do not control their destiny. They are three games behind rivals Seattle Seahawks (10-1) and half a game back of the Arizona Cardinals (7-4) in the division.
The same cannot be said for the Redskins (3-7), which have lost four of the last six games and two of the last three and are last place in their division and 13th overall in the conference.
San Francisco's overall defense has been good enough for a record above 0.500, but they need to address their passing game which ranks dead last in the league with just 168.0 yards per game.
The Redskins are the best rushing team in the league with 155.2 yards per game but can’t convert these to consistent wins.
Both players under center have a mediocre QB rating this season thus far. Griffin III has 83.6 (19th) and Kaepernick has 81.8 (21st).
