Many users have expected Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie would be the next Android OS version to be introduced in the upcoming Google I/O in May 2013. However, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean keeps showing up on server logs and one of the devices seen running it is the Nexus 4 LTE version.

It seems like Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the OS update which will be unveiled in the Google event and more leaks of the rumoured version continues. Recently, reports claimed that testing of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 with build number JWR23B is currently ongoing, and the IP suggests that this is the real deal.

Everyone thought that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie was going to be announced on the Google I/O event, but the reality is clouded by many leaks of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean under development. HTC scheduled an event on May 16, 2013, with in-depth talks on Bluetooth Low Energy and Open GL ES 3.0, and that these new technologies have already arrived on Android.

BLE or Bluetooth Low Energy is already supported by some Android devices, including units from Samsung. Another benefit for Android devices using Snapdragon 600 is the OpenGL ES 3.0 which is a new graphics specification for rendering, texturing and shading.

This collective list of leaks, server logs and latest technologies imply that Google will announce Android 4.3 instead of Android 5.0. If so, Android 4.3 version will become the ultimate Jelly Bean and features improvement like no other.

Bluetooth Low Energy for Android devices is low cost and reduces power consumption connectivity without shrinking the standard range. At the same time, the OpenGL ES 3.0 will improve overall graphics possibly on Android's new UI and game written by developers would become much easier than before.
