More details are coming out as to how Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent the weekend that marks their first reunion since splitting up in May 2013. Albeit more developments are coming out by the hour, the new details about their much-talked about reunion fill the gaps of what went on at the former couple’s lovenest.

Rob’s white Durango car was seen pulling over and driving away from Kristen’s place in two separate occasions last week - - first on a Thursday, Aug 1, then again, three days later.

Latest reports confirmed that Rob dropped by Kristen’ place but failed to meet her the first time. But the lovers apparently had a happy-sad reunion when they finally met the second time Rob went to see his former squeeze.

A friend, close to Kristen, described what went on inside the love nest, away from the eagle-eyed shutterbugs.

1. Rob came to pick up the rest of his stuff.
On May 19, 2013, Rob was seen hauling his stuff from the Los Feliz mansion to his red pick- up truck and then he drove back to his Spanish-style villa. Three weeks after that, the actor was seen driving around Kristen’s place, and it was believed that he was out there to also pick up some of the stuff he left when he moved out.

Three months after his second split from Kristen, Rob was snapped back at the Los Feliz area. Ditching his red pick-up truck, Rob was driving a white Durango when spotted parking in front of Kristen’s house and driving away hours later.

The friend Hollywoodlife.com talked to in his latest sighting near Kristen confirmed that Rob indeed dropped by, but again, just to pick up the rest of his stuff.

2. Rob also came to see her
Despite recurring reports that Rob has nothing but hatred for Kristen for allegedly entertaining messages from her former fling, director Rupert Sanders, Rob came to see Kristen.

Months after separation, this is the first time that a source from either camp has said about either one of them wanting to see the other - - this time, it was Rob.

“Rob initially reached out to Kristen because he wanted to stop by and pick up the rest of his stuff, but apparently he also wanted to see her,” the source was quoted as telling HollywoodLife.com.

3. Rob wanted “to tie up loose ends.”
Both Rob and Kristen love their privacy and both have been affected by the manner which media has followed them since they nabbed the Twilight roles that propelled them to international superstardom.

Between the two, Rob is described as the one to have resented the media a bit more on how things “went down” in their personal lives.

"Rob’s trying to reclaim his life after splitting up with Kristen. He loves that Twilight was huge and he’s set for life because of it, but he’s resentful of the media firestorm that descended on his personal life," a source told Hollywoodlife.com, according to Entertainmentwise.com.

The source added that Kristen is really the kind of girl Rob wanted to spend the rest of his life with, but things didn’t go as planned with too much attention coming his way and that of Kristen’s.

The source claimed, said Entertainmentwise.com, “"He’s the kind of guy who wants to quietly chill with his friends and date a down-to-earth girl. Kristen was that for a bit, but their relationship made him unable to leave the house, and he hated that."

4. Rob and Kristen just had a short, happy-sad talk.
The source described the reunion like any other reunion for former lovers in the same room after the split. Kristen was described happy to see the Twilight hunk. The former lovers apparently had some catching up to do and it was clear that both have feelings for each other. In the end, they were faced with the reality that it is over for them, for now.

“Seeing each other brought up a lot stuff for both of them. For now, work — not rebuilding a relationship — comes first. It’s sad,” the source noted.

Both Rob and Kristen are currently busy with their respective projects. Rob had just wrapped up on location filming Maps to the Stars in Toronto, Canada, while Kristen still makes herself busy with Camp X-Ray and the training required for the film.
