Actor Morgan Freeman made a guest appearance to promote his latest film "Lucy" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" in New York City last Thursday, July 24, and it was a memorable one. Host Jimmy Fallon convinced the 77-year-old actor to suck in helium from a red balloon while conducting the interview.

The shared YouTube video, which currently has over one million views, begins with Jimmy Fallon telling Morgan Freeman that people love him for his acting, movies and TV series "Through the Wormhole." Then, Jimmy Fallon admitted that he saw Morgan Freeman do something in the TV series and he wanted to recreate it in the show.

"I do love your voice and everyone loves your voice, but I was wondering what your voice would sound like if you were on helium," Fallon explained. The host urged his celebrity guest star to conduct the interview with him on helium after pulling out the two red balloons that were filled with the gas.

Jimmy and Morgan sucked in the helium and talked to each other for a few minutes. As expected, the result was hilarious as the two sounded like chipmunks while talking.

"Do you ever want to go to space?" Fallon asked while suppressing his laughter. "I really shouldn't be doing this," Freeman responded with his voice up a couple of notches up from his usual smooth and calm drawling voice.

"It is very undignified," the "Lucy" actor further added. Jimmy Fallon thinks Morgan Freeman's voice sounds great and it is not undignified.

After Jimmy Fallon thanked his guest for making an appearance on the show, the host asked if Morgan Freeman would ever like to come back again. "I am never coming back," the guest star responded after sucking in helium. Have a look at the hilarious video below.

The sci-fi/adventure/action film "Lucy," which stars Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman, got released in movie theaters on Friday, July 25. The film's synopsis in the Just Jared report reads: "The movie is about a woman, accidentally caught in a dark deal, who turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic."
