Less than a month and fans of Cassandra Clare's best-selling novels will finally see their Shadowhunters in action for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones." With all the hype around the film, it's not surprising that one of New York's hottest clothing lines would create apparel inspired by the film. Check out the latest clothing line by Hot Topic for "The Mortal Instruments."

Fans of Cassie Clare's novels, "The Mortal Instruments" not only have a film adaptation to look forward to by August but loads of merchandise to save up for. The latest include apparel from NYC's one and only, Hot Topic. Along with TRIPP, Hot Topic created a limited-edition punk rock fashion line inspired by the novels.

The said clothing line has already begun their sale at the beginning of July. Cindy Levitt, the VP of Hot Topic, explains why she'd jump on the opportunity of selling such clothing line inspired by the novels.

"We just knew everyone was kind of obsessed with it," stated Levitt in an interview with TMI Source, adding, "When you get that fan base first, then you know. It's so different than when a studio approaches you and you're like, never heard of it, and this one we'd heard so much about. We didn't even question it. We're going to support it."

A few pieces sold by Hot Topic are also set to be featured in the film. Jemima West and Jamie Campbell-Bower's characters take on the chance of wearing the clothing line by Hot Topic. These limited edition clothes would definitely run out before the film even premieres but Levitt states that back-up shirts have already been prepared. Other merchandise set to be on sale at Hot Topic include rings, necklaces, rune-inspired temporary tattoos, steles, bags and cuff bracelets.

If fans may notice, almost all the clothes have been made in the iconic black shade. True fans of Cassandra Clare's novels know that black would symbolize the Shadowhunter fashion and their quote: "Looking Better in Black Than the Widows of our Enemies Since 1234."
