After almost a year of dating, it looks as if the "Jamily" couple has finally called it quits. "The Mortal Instruments" stars Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins have allegedly split. Yet, wasn't it just a week ago that these two were caught chummy and sweet for the films' promotion?

In the midst of promoting their new film, Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins have quietly ended their one year relationship. This news is a shock to "Jamily" fans that have been nothing short of supportive for the two celebrities. Over the past few weeks, Jamie and Lily have been on tour promoting the flick with their relationship not showing any hint of a break up.

"They've been really good about doing the press tour together for their movie. They were able to stay friendly," says a source to US Weekly.

Well, the former "Jamily" couple might have ended their relationship on the romantic front but they still remain "good friends." For one, author Cassandra Clare claimed Jamie and Lily were the perfect stars for the part of Jace Wayland and Clarissa Fray respectively. Hopefully, their split doesn't affect the film franchise with one star deciding to leave the film adaptation later on.

As for Collins, the "Mirror Mirror" star claimed the chemistry between her and Jamie was simply natural in her interview in the September issue of Glamour UK.

"We took that chance and ...Whatever ... It is what it is. People are cast because they have chemistry," stated Collins.

"You have that connection with each other and sometimes that translates to more," continued Collins.
