"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" still airs in numerous cinemas worldwide. To date, the film adaptation of Cassandra Clare's novel continues to stay in the US box office ten. This success of course hasn't hindered the production studio to work on the next film in the series, "City of Ashes." New characters will be introduced of which include Maia Roberts, Simon Lewis' (Robert Sheehan) potential love interest. Here are a few lovely actresses suited for the part.

Filming for "City of Ashes" is said to begin this month. In an interview with Jamie Campbell Bower, the cast will be under rigorous training once more. Aside from behind-the-scenes shots to look forward to, fans are awaiting news for casting for new characters. If "Twilight" had their werewolf boy, Jacob Black played by Taylor Lautner, "The Mortal Instruments" has their werewolf girl, Maia Roberts. So who among Hollywood's hottest could play the feisty "Downworlder?"

"Simon could see that she was a girl, about sixteen years old, with smooth light brown skin. Her brown-gold hair was braided close to her head in dozens of small braids, and her face was nearly the exact shape of a heart. She had a compact, curvy body, wide hips flaring out from a smaller waist," stated the description of Maia in the book, "City of Ashes."
