‘Mortal Kombat X’ Android Bone Shaper Shinnok challenge walkthrough: Tips for beginners
A new has started for “Mortal Kombat X” Android. This time, it’s one of the most awaited characters, Bone Shaper Shinnok.
Players may want to get some specific characters ready in order to go through the usual five levels of the challenge. As usual, the first three levels will require the following characters: Bronze characters for Tier I, Silver and Bronze characters for Tier II and Silver characters for Tier III. The fourth tier requires a team of all Spec Ops characters, while the final tier requires Scorpion to be on the team.
Getting through level 4 and 5 as beginners
For the most part, the Easy mode of the challenge will still give players a fighting chance to get Bone Shaper Shinnok in “Mortal Kombat X” Android challenge. The first three tiers can be completed even with lower level cards.
Of course, it is good to also grind through the Battle Modes not only to level up characters, but to earn Koins. In “Mortal Kombat X,” it’s easier to get Koins than Souls via the grind. However, Koins to give fans access to both Bronze and Silver characters, as these are the ones that can be purchased using Koins.
There are currently five Scorpion cards available in “Mortal Kombat X” Android. These include Injustice Scorpion, Ninjutsu Scorpion, Inferno Scorpion and Klassic Scorpion. Unfortunately, only one is a Silver Scorpion. Fans who can do the grind can easily fuse him to max level, which will help in fighting Bone Shaper Shinnok at the end of both Challenge modes.
It helps that NetherRealm has made getting Koins and Souls a little easier with the revamped daily bonus missions. Instead of the previous setup, which limited players into doing only three missions to gain souls, now there are a total of 12 Objectives that can be accomplished for varying numbers of Souls and Koins as rewards.
Additionally, players who can grind their way through the battles repeatedly may be able to collect a lot more Koins
Is Bone Shaper Shinnok worth getting?
The short answer here is yes. There is currently a lack of Shinnok characters in “Mortal Kombat X” mobile, so this will be a great addition to the collection. There’s also the added bonus that he is a Netherrealm character, for those who would want more of these types of characters. Bone Shaper Shinnok’s passive is the God of Death. This passive is helpful for the entire team, not only Bone Shaper Shinnok.
For every fighter that is defeated on the team, his attacks increase by 25 percent. Additionally, his attack will be increased by another 25 percent for every enemy resurrect. “Mortal Kombat X” players who have been looking for a good way to deal with the Halloween double card treat Jason Vorhees will be happy with Bone Shaper Shinnok’s passive.
A good strategy to use Bone Shaper Shinnok is to keep him for second or third fighting position, especially when facing a team with a Jason card or a Warlock Quan Chi. By sacrificing one fighter—after a good fight—he could gain some pretty good additions to his attack.
A good team to form around Scorpion for the final tier would either be an all-Martial Artist team or one that involes Silver Kenshi. Bone Shaper Shinnok is immune to damage-over-time attacks. Make sure to get as much damage as possible with Martial Artists’ passives complementing each other in terms of adding health and attack power. Additionally, since Scorpion belongs to the Martial Artists fighters, pairing him with Silver Kenshi and adding another Spec Ops fighters will give Kenshi a good overall attack and health boost.
Players of “Mortal Kombat X” mobile who also happen to have and play the “Mortal Kombat XL” can unlock two special gold characters. These two new gold characters are Cybernetic Jacqui Briggs and Undercover Cassie Cage.
As discussed over the official Reddit for “Mortal Kombat,” the console-exclusive unlockables can be obtained by linking the mobile with the console version of the game. Additionally, these should have been available for unlock last March, so those who are also participating in the multiplayer aspect of the game may have seen some players with these new cards.
