With the numerous talent shows on TV, it is not only the contestants who get a lot of recall from the viewers, but also the judges. Seeing them several times every week can really get their faces marking on your mind til you retire for each day!

Simon Cowell tops anyone's list for being the most popular "meanie" of the American Idol series. Cowell is also known for his feisty-yet-rational comments made over performances. If there is one thing that you can criticize Cowell, it would be his never changing hair style. He also is the one who started all the straight talk, no matter how negative it may sound.

For Simon's version in 'So You Think You Can Dance,' it's Nigel Lythgoe. He used to be a dancer and eventually became a TV producer. He has named himself the 'dancing doctor' and a graduate from the University of Bedfordshire.

Jennifer Lopez herself became a judge for the hit show, 'American Idol,' after replacing the original female judge, Paula Abdul. For the Aussie part, there's Jason Gardiner who spiced things up for 'Dancing on Ice' for five straight years. He was known in the past show for his consistent neckwear and the harsh comments.
