In at the number ten is Skrillex and Ellie Goulding. The king of dubstep and the songwriter-singer sweetheart had started dating earlier this year. At their early 20's, the couple has managed to round up 1.1 million stateside copies of their combined album sell-outs. The number is sure to double when Goulding is set to release her highly-anticipated second album, "Halycon."
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert come in at the number nine spot. Their marriage last spring plus Shelton's stint on "The Voice" caused the couple to grow even more popular. In total, the couple's album sales rounds up at 9.6 million.
The teenage couple, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, comes in at the number eight spot. Bieber's "Believe" album hit the number 1 spot on the Billboard just days after it's' release. Justin at 18 and Selena at 20, the couple has rounded up a whopping 11.2 million in album sales combined.
RnB songstress, Alicia Keys and producer-turned-husband, Swizz Beatz make it to the top as number seven. The couple married in July 2010 at Corsica but even before tying the knot, the couple's separate careers have already been established. The couple has over 17.3 million in sales combined.
Bush front man, Gavin Rossdale and No Doubt lead singer, Gwen Stefani makes it to the number six spot. Having been married in 2002, the couple has managed to amass a hefty 32.7 million album sales combined. The number is set to triple with No Doubt's comeback album by next month titled,
Push & Shove."
The shocking engagement between Nickelback front man, Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne catapulted the couple to the number 5 spot. Avril and Chad's cumulative album sales sum up to 34.3 million which is not too shabby for a newly engaged couple.
Power couple, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon rank at number four with over 53.77 million album sales. This is a little bit higher compared to number three country couple, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill with over 60.9 million album sales.
Music mogul couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce, surprisingly makes it to only number two with only 62.3 million in sales. The number one spot is owned by none other than Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood with an awesome album sales amounting to 78.9 million.
