It seems that Cindy Crawford's 10-year-old daughter is following her footsteps in becoming a supermodel.

Top model Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber offspring, Kaia Gerber, is posing for the Young Versace's spring/summer 2012 campaign.

According to fashion magazine British Vogue, Cindy Crawford said that she was so thrilled with her daughter's modeling gig. "Being on set with my daughter and watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her," the supermodel quickly added.

In the nineties, Cindy Crawford was at the prime of her career as a supermodel and served as muse for Versace's founder, the late Gianni Versace. Crawford also starred in many campaigns for the elite fashion line.

Cindy Crawford said that the House of Versace was very special to her and she has many fond memories with the late Gianni.

According to the current chief designer of Versace, Donatella Versace, Kaia has a special gift. "The camera really, really loves her ... It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps," she added.

It seems that Kaia inherited her mother's confidence in front of the camera. The campaign was shot by famed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. It follows the opening of the first Young Versace boutique in Milan, Italy.
