Bianka was carrying her baby, Jude, when they were both killed at a convenience store in Rozelle, Sydney, last Thursday.

Bianka had just put in her papers at work to look after him full time. However, an explosion claimed both, along with 30-year-old neighbour, Chris Noble.Their bodies were fished out on Saturday, after a two-day rescue mission.

On Friday, the police had finished a two-day search when they pulled out Bianka and Jude. The area is now a scene of a crime. The owner of the store was still hospitalised, in a bad condition after having been dug out manually from the shattered debris.

Jude's father, John O'Brien, was devastated. Jude had just learned to toddle, he said. Bianka was planning to move into a new phase of life, to devote herself completely to Jude.

Bianka and John were together for eight years and married for two.

"To say she was the love of my life is an understatement," John said, according to Yahoo. He added that he could not believe that those years had flashed by, yet he called them "the best years of my life".

He recalled how loyal, caring and "fun-loving" Bianka was. Jude too was growing to understand things, a "perfect baby" who was always smiling. He was loving his world, and made everyone around him happy. Bianca was so ecstatic just being a mother that she was a "natural" at it.

On behalf of her father, Bill, and himself, he expressed gratitude to the community, police and emergency services for having helped them. He agreed that though he had faced devastating times, he was "overwhelmed by the response and support from the community". The police and other emergency services have been by their side. He also extended his sympathy to 27-year-old Chris Noble's family and all those who got affected by the explosion.

The family, which had just returned from a trip to South America was heartbroken at the loss of its son.

"We lost our beautiful boy yesterday," Chris' mother said, according to Yahoo.

She added that he was remembered for being athletic, with a great work ethic and a lot of loyalty and love for his family and friends.

His last Facebook post had been tragic. He had posted: "I've always wanted to be famous!"

Chris had been sleeping with two close roommates when the store below their flat underwent an explosion. While the other two jumped out, he did not manage to escape.

On Sunday, in Balmain, police assured the citizens that due to the wet climate, there was no danger of airborne asbestos from the explosion. Along the crowded commercial and residential road between Victoria road and Merton St, there was an attempt to bring down the exclusion zone.

There is still an investigation of the explosion and a survey of the CCTV footage. A car has reportedly fled from the spot after the explosion.
