Mother Revealed That Her Triplets Were Born Three Years Apart
A 45-year-old mother gave birth to her triplets three years apart. Sarah Swann from Leicester in the United Kingdom, confirmed this after undergoing In Vitro Fertilisation, or IVF in a desperate attempt to form her own family.
When Sarah was 40 years old, she underwent IVF. The medical experts were able to fertilise five of her eggs. Two of these eggs were placed back in her womb. Then in 2012, she gave birth to her first child; she named him George. She was thrilled when she discovered the intervention was a success, and that she was actually pregnant, she told Express. The first trimester left her anxious and totally on guard for anything wrong that might occur, but luckily the entire pregnancy ran smoothly and she felt wonderful.
However, she did not want to stop with just one child, as she badly wanted George to have a little brother or sister before time ran out. She then underwent another IVF session, using the remaining two eggs, which was left frozen after she first conceived it. After two weeks, she found that she was pregnant again. It was January of this year that she finally gave birth to twins Lilah and Noah. “It was so emotional when they were born and when I was holding them in my arms, it was the most amazing moment,” the 45-year-old mother of three said. “I couldn’t believe that my little triplet family was complete, even if Noah and Lilah have been born three years behind their big brother."
People are shocked to find that the three kids were actually triplets as they were conceived at the same time. In the future, Sarah plans to tell her kids the unusual story behind their births when they are old enough. "Having three babies is hard work, but it’s all worth it to be a mum,” she closed.
