Rock legends Motley Crue is set to play three shows in the country on September, with stops inBrisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The band has an additional treat to all their Aussie fans: they'll be playing with the original Motley Crue line-up - with Tommy Lee on drums, Nikki Sixx on bass, Mick Mars on guitars, and Vince Neil rocking the mic. The four-piece has another surprise; they'll be touring with Poison's Brett Michaels, and Doc Neeson of The Angels to accompany them on stage.

Last seen in the country on 2005, the band is more than ready to rock it out with their classic hits and some new tracks, proving that they still "got it" after 3 decades of playing gigs and making records. Most famous for their records Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood, the band has been touring the globe since 1981 and has undergone minor and major changes in their roster. Vocalist Vince Neil left the band in 1992, and was replaced by John Corabi (who was with the band until 1996). Neil returned in 1997 for their record Generation Swine that led to the creation of their own label Motley Records. It was in 1999 when famed drummer Tommy Lee left the band due to heavy misunderstandings with Neil, but came back in 2002 where Motley Crue reinvented itself as an all-time rock and roll favorite.

Though celebrated and well known, the band only won a couple of awards in the span of their long career, including one win at the American Music Awards. Their latest album, Saints of Los Angeles, was released in 2008, with more than 500,000 units sold worldwide. All in all, Motley Crue has sold millions of records worldwide, and with the company of Brett Michaels and Doc Neeson, this Australian tour is expected to be a rock spectacle for all ages.
