Moto G4 Plus has a stellar camera that is as good as Google Nexus 6P, Apple iPhone 6S Plus cameras

Even though the Moto G4 Plus is a budget smartphone, it is packed with a stellar camera of 16 MP. DxOMark, a reputed industry standard that is known for reviewing and rating cameras has stated that the camera prowess of Moto G4 Plus is on par with smartphones like Nexus 6P and iPhone 6S Plus.

The Moto G4 Plus is equipped with a 16 MP camera that houses an f/2.0 aperture lens. Since it includes a large sized sensor, it can shoot plenty of light and detail. For faster focusing, it is enabled with hybrid phase detection and laser autofocus.

The smartphone’s camera has scored 84 out of 100. Even other high-end smartphones such as Apple iPhone 6S Plus, Google Nexus 6P and Moto Droid Turbo have scored 84 on Dx0Mark.

DxOMark has stated the Moto G4 Plus photos have great detail and noise reduction in bright light. Outdoor photos appear pleasant with vivid colours. The white balance is impressive in dim-lighting conditions. It supports very quick and accurate autofocus in various kinds of lighting conditions.

While shooting videos, the camera Moto G4 Plus delivers impressive stabilization, colour rendering, white balance and fast autofocus in all lighting conditions. Videos that were shot outdoors have good noise reduction.

HTC 10 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones have best cameras according to DxOMark as both of them have scored 88. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Sony Xperia Z5 have scored 87 on DxOMark. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge have scored 86.

Lenovo Moto G4 Plus is now available for purchase on Amazon India. Its 16 GB and 32 GB models are priced at 13,499 INR (AU$277) and 14,999 INR (AU$307). It features a 5.5-inch full HD screen and is powered by Snapdragon 617 chipset. The 16 GB model features 2 GB of RAM whereas the 32 GB variant is packed with 32 GB of RAM. Its selfie camera is of 5 MP. The Moto G4 Plus has a huge battery of 3000 mAh capacity.
