Moto X Phone won't be Launched This Week; Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx & Droid Mini Unveiled to Begin Motorola's New Droid Family
Motorola confirmed that the small event at Google's Mountain View headquarters in July 10 & 11, 2013 will not be the launching venue of the upcoming Moto X Phone. However, three new Motorola smartphones are speculated to debut in the event - Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx & Droid Mini.
Earlier Reports of Launching Date
Earlier rumours revealed that Motorola is going to launch the upcoming X Phone at the Google event in Mountain View headquarters according to Leo Laporte. He revealed on his "This Week in Google" show that Motorola's Guy Kawasaki invited him at the event which is a small gathering open to only 50 guests.
Laporte speculated that Moto X Phone may be included in the briefings. However, Motorola confirmed that there will be no Moto X Phone appearing on the said event. Instead, new speculation linked three new smartphones from Motorola after confirming no show of Moto X Phone.
New Smartphones Debuting?
Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini are three new smartphones rumoured which will appear in the Google's small event. These devices carry the Droid branding of Motorola and will be forwarded to Verizon Wireless.
@evleaks reported that Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and Droid Ultra are going to be launched real soon before Moto X Phone makes debut sometime in 2013. These three will create a new generation of Motorola's Droid family.

Droid Maxx or XT1080M which is similar with Droid Ultra except for a slightly thicker model due to its larger battery unit and closely resembles RAZR Maxx & RAZR Maxx HD. Droid Mini or XT1030 will be quite similar to the other two devices with certain difference in specifications just like with Samsung's mini Galaxy devices.
