Motorola installed a 3900 mAh battery pack on Droid Turbo and claimed to last for up to two days of performance based on an average user profile. It can also get an additional of eight hours in just 15 minutes of charging using the Motorola Turbo Charger.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has 2800 mAh battery pack supported with the latest Ultra Power Saving mode from TouchWiz UI. It can extend the smartphone by shutting down all unnecessary functions such as coloured display, mobile data, exclusive services and others to practically turn it into a basic phone.

Durability: Premium Materials vs. IP Certification

Depending on the user's choice, Motorola Droid Turbo can either have a Premium Ballistic Nylon or Metallised Glass Fibre which increases durability of the rear cover. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protecting the display screen has a water-repellent nanocoating to protect the device against sudden downpour and everyday spills.

Samsung Galaxy S5 has been certified with IP 67 rating which means that the device is completely protected against ingress of dust and resists water, sweat, rain and liquids with up to one metre of submersion for 30 minutes. Users can record videos or take pictures underwater with Galaxy S5.

Verizon Wireless will start selling Motorola Droid Turbo on Oct. 30 with $599 full retail price. Samsung Galaxy S5 is also available at Verizon having a full retail price of $599 with 16 GB internal storage.
