The wait is over and speculations come to an end as both the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 were officially unveiled by Google. The Nexus 6 is manufactured by Motorola and the Nexus 9 is made by HTC. Both the devices will ship with the latest version of the operating system Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Motorola Nexus 6 Specifications

The Motorola Nexus 6 has a 5.96 inch Quad HD 2,560 x 1,440p display at 493 pixels per inch. The processor that is built in this device is a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, Adreno 420 GPU. The operating system is the latest version Android 5.0 Lollipop. The storage is in two variants one is 32 GB and the other 64 GB. The primary camera is 13 mega pixels with optical image stabilization and high definition recording and the secondary camera is 2 mega pixels. This device has dual front facing stereo speakers. The capacity of the battery is 3,220 mAh with Motorola Turbo Charging technology which charges the device for 6 hours of use in just 15 minutes.

HTC Nexus 9 Specifications

Much has been written about the device in the last few days and months before its release. The HTC Nexus 9 is equipped with an 8.9 inch IPS LED display with 2,048 x 1,536p resolution. This device is powered by the 64 bit NVIDIA's Tegra K1 dual core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and comes with a 192 core GPU and 2 GB of RAM. The operating system is the new version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The battery is a whopping 6,700 mAh. Nexus 9 will ship with both the 16 GB and 32 GB non expandable storage.

Pre-orders and Price

Motorola Nexus 6

The Nexus 6 can be pre-ordered starting October 29 and will be available in retail stores on November. According to Motorola the Nexus 6, 32 GB is priced at $649.99 off contract and the 64 GB variant of contract will cost $699.99. The colours available are Midnight Blue and Cloud White.

It will be available on AT&T, U.S. Cellular, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.

HTC Nexus 9

Pre-orders for the Nexus 9 will begin on October 17 before it is available in stores on November 3. The HTC Nexus 9, 16 GB will begin at $399 and the 32 GB variant is priced at $479. The LTE connectivity will cost $699. The device is available in sand, black and white colours.
