Motorola Mobility CEO Dennis Woodside teased Moto X to be the first phone earning approval from leaders of Google according to the D11 conference interview. Motorola X is expected to be released later this year with new set of unique features to make it win against iPhone 5s, Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

Biostamp Electronic Tattoo
It is a security implementation for the Motorola X which is made out of silicon, containing electrical circuit, antennae and sensors that bends and moves with the wearer's body. The electronic tattoo functions similarly with NFC chips which can also be used for opening a computer or other accounts requiring passwords.

Proteus Digital Health's Vitamin Authentication Pill
Acid powered authentication pill in the wearer's stomach, creating an 18-bit signal transmitted to your mobile device. This pill switches on and off and generates signal similar to an electrocardiogram. A touch can activated the authentication request as the human body conducts electricity.

Beyond Traditional Sensors
Dennis Woodside revealed some vague details on how Motorola X would be "contextually aware" by using sensors built inside the phone. Moto X has sensors which detects if you'd taken out it of your pocket and launches the camera app, recognising that you wanted to take a picture. It can also sense your environment such as inside your car then shifts into driving mode for safety precautions.

Intense Durability than Ever
One key features of Motorola phones is the durability against several hazards on daily usage. If old models of Motorola possess dust-proof, waterproof, shock-proof and scratch-proof, expect all of these durability features in Moto X which something you cannot have with the iPhone 5s, Galaxy S4 or HTC One.

Higher Battery Life
GSM Arena reported that Moto X will have 4000 mAh battery for sufficient energy throughout the day. The phone will also have built-in apps to help battery conservation and two processors for optimising battery life without ruining its slim physical appearance.

Flexible Display Possibilities
Durability and resilience may not be enough to protect Moto X from being worn out over time and having flexible display screen guarantees "zero breakage". Motorola is still unsure if the upcoming Moto X will feature a flexible screen since the technology is not yet fully ready. But future version of the Moto X next year or later may feature the groundbreaking "flexible, bendable and virtual unbreakable display screens."

X Line Devices not Nexus Line Up
Motorola is doing its own software-based tweaks separating the Moto X away from the Nexus line of Android devices. Motorola design chief Jim Wicks told PCMag of the "unadulterated version of Android" running future phones of the company. The tweaks will continue the trend of Motorola on its Droid RAZR devices.

Customisable Compared to Other Android Phones
Android and Me claimed that users have an option to have certain aspects of Moto X to be customised according to their terms. Customisable areas of the Moto X phone includes the RAM, storage capacity, exterior colour and material such as wood, metal & carbon.

Future Phones from Motorola
Moto X is the beginning of Motorola's return to the smartphone scene and expect more upcoming devices later this year. Woodside said that more phones are coming on their way after the release of Moto X including some with lower prices. Some rumours are also considering that Motorola may launch larger than 5-inches devices such as phablet or tablet.

Release Date and Pricing
No confirmation yet when will be the exact release date of the Moto X and how much would it actually cost. Some speculated that the device may be launched earlier this summer while others said that it will be on the same date as Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie on October.

For the price, Woodside hinted a possible $600 price tag on the unsubsidized Moto X. He said that the company can do things differently with "high-quality and low cost" devices. It is still unclear if this idea will be implied on Moto X phone.
