Motorola is conducting a launch event for its lineup of devices in NYC, Sao Paulo, and London on July 28. The company did not reveal details on Motorola devices that would be launched on the said date. Reports on the expected features, release date, price and other specifications of the next generation Moto G, Moto X and the next iteration of the Moto 360 smartwatch are already rife now.

According to a report on Digital Trends, Motorola’s event invite reads, “Your relationship status is about to change,” and is signed “XGX, Moto”. Motorola is likely to launch the third generation Moto G and Moto X, reports Tech 2.

Recently, in May, Indian e-commerce retailer Flipkart had accidentally listed the third generation Moto G hinting at the likely launch of the next iteration in the Moto G lineup. However, the listing was finally taken off after a brief time.

The 2015 Moto G is likely to feature a 5.0-inch screen with either a 720p or 1080p resolution along with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB or 2GB of RAM, reports Digital Trends. The other expected features include 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, 16GB of built-in storage, 2,470mAh battery and is most likely to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Motorola, which is also working on the next iteration of the Moto X is also expected to be launched at the July 28 event. The Moto X is likely to sport a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and it could also get a fingerprint sensor. The 2015 Moto X could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with a 4 GB RAM. The 2015 version could either get a 32 GB or 64 GB built-in storage, however, it is yet to be confirmed if Moto X will get a MicroSD card slot. Other likely features include a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, as per the Digital Trends report.
