'Mr. Robot' Season 2 spoilers: Pulse racing trailer of episode 3 surfaces online [Recap and Review]
A preview video of “Mr. Robot” Season 2 episode 3 has surfaced online. The video shows Christian Slater’s character busy working on something and Elliot will struggle to find out what that is, as he dives deep into his own mind to search for answers.
[Spoiler alert]
What happened the previous night after Elliot (Rami Malek) went to sleep? This is the question the next episode will answer, according to the trailer posted on YouTube. The protagonist was shocked in the second episode to find out that he had been talking to a man he met while watching a basket ball game. He quickly realised that it was Slater’s character (Mr. Robot) who must be behind the meeting.
Elliot didn’t ask the man at the basketball game what his meeting was about. Instead, he ran back home and looked at his journal to see if he had strayed from his well planned routine to keep Slater’s character at bay. Slater’s character has been repeatedly telling the protagonist in the first two episodes of “Mr. Robot” to take charge of the movement he started.
After their initial victory, the hackers gained very little. Evil Corp has managed to get billions of dollars as a bailout package from the US government and is now looking for more support to rebuild their information technology infrastructure. Darlene (Carly Chaikin), who is now spearheading the movement, remarked in the previous episode that the hackers are losing the battle.
The trailer shows the FBI looking for some evidence in a room. Meanwhile, a core member of the hacker group will return in the next episode.
Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallstrom) does not appear in “Mr. Robot” Season 2 episode 3 trailer. The character has so far only appeared as a news story and the authorities consider him to be the main suspect in the massive hack attack that happened in the previous season.
