In the last five years, the Twilight series has already received 23 nominations, with 16 wins for all the four films combined since 2008. Of these recorded Popcorn Trophies, the MTV Movie Awards has given four (4) “Best Kiss” awards for Twilight couple and real-life lovers, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

Therefore, it has come as a real, big surprise for millions of Twi-hards and critics and supporters alike that the box-office hit, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 has received the biggest snub since it began entertaining fans - - no nomination for the Best Kiss Awards for the on-and-off reel-real life couple, Robert and Kristen.

The Twilight-snub has been dubbed as a bigger snub as the controversial and much-talked about snub-story for Best Director award that could have received by A-list actor and now director, Ben Afleck for his creation on Argo.

The Robsten Kiss is considered as one of its kind. There was never an on-screen couple who had looked that good together as much as Robert and Kristen, as asserted by their co-star, Erik Odom. They had become an iconic couple for Twilight. They have created “a movie within a movie.” They are “bigger than anyone could have imagined” and “no one could pull off an Edward Cullen-Bella Swan tandem better than Edward and Kristen.

And the reverberating question of all time of the MTV Movie Awards history: “why has the Twilight couple been passed up for the Best Kiss Award?” Why not give the award as a legacy for the film after it has won the category four years in a row? Why not nominated? Why not now?
