Nicki Minaj opened the MTV Video Awards on Sunday night with a very raunchy, twerky and sexually explicit performance on her latest song "Anaconda." The 31-year-old rapper did what Miley Cyrus did at the 2013 MTV VMAs when she gave her wild and controversial performance with Robin Thicke on "We Can't Stop."

Minaj kicked off with her performance with a medley and danced along Ariana Grande and Jessie J. For the opening performance, Minaj wore an all black full sleeve top and tight black leather skirt. According to today.com, she suffered a bit of wardrobe malfunction too. The website is publishing a picture of Minaj holding her black skirt tightly on stage as Ariana and Jessie J perform along with her. Check it out here.

"...she seemed to suffer some kind of wardrobe malfunction and clasped her short dark dress as if she was trying to hold it closed," writes the website.

The medley started with the song "Break Free" from Ariana Grande, moved on to Nicki's "Anaconda" and then concluded with "Bang Bang." Nicki later changed into a very skimpy green coloured outfit to make her look like a giant snake. She not only twerked alone but also allowed one of the dancers to grind on top of her. Check video below.

The rapper also she remixed her song "Anaconda" with Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Big Butts." Hollywood Life is calling Nicki's MTV VMA performance as "her sexiest and wildest live performance ever."

The singer has been using her bums to promote the music video of "Anaconda." For the artwork of the song, Nicki wore a very tiny pink thong and exposed her bums in the picture. The music video of "Anaconda" features a sexy lap dance that Nicki gave to Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Drake. Read more here.

Nicki's "Anaconda" has also broken the record of being the most viewed music video on Vevo in 24 hours.
