A new apartment owner in the Paris suburb of Bussy-Saint-Georges was shocked to discover a mummified body hanging with a bedsheet believed to be hanging there for 8 years.

Reports noted the dead body aged around 40 was a former security guard of Cambodian origin who previously resided the flat. Nothing was heard from him since 2005 after filing a labor complaint against his job termination. He had cut ties with his family even years before his alleged suicide but neighbors thought he had returned to Cambodia.

The apartment was sold at an auction after its bank repossession caused by failure to make mortgage payments and pay building dues. The new owner discovered the body when he inspected the flat and entered with the assistance of a locksmith. The body was reportedly in perfect condition.

Neighbors had no idea what happened inside the apartment believing it was just abandoned. Bussy is a commuter suburb that's why people don't get to see each other that much. Investigators are looking into the mystery why the body had not decomposed.

Carbon-based life forms on Earth will die but according to the Roman Catholic, there is a way to stop the decomposition process. For centuries, it believes that those with the purest faith remain lifelike even after death and their bodies will resist the decay of the grave. There are a number of documented cases like this. A best example is Saint Padre Pio who died in 1968 and exhumed in 2008. He was found intact enough to be canonized as a saint.

There are several techniques to preserve human remains. One is through mummification, which is the process of removing internal organs and filling the body with herbs and other natural materials to combat decay. The remains is then bathed in oils and wrapped tightly in linen.

There are a lot of "incorruptible saints" who show no signs of decay even centuries after their death. Until now, this is a mystery that not even science can explain. This might it be brought by preservatives? Watch Part 1 of videos about incorrupt bodies below:
