Offers of Prayers and Support for Victims of Boston Explosion Pour on Twitter
Music artists have joined athletes as they took to Twitter to offer prayers and support for victims of Boston Marathon explosion. From American Idol judge, Nicki Minaj to singer actor Justin Timberlake, and Michael Phelps to Floyd Mayweather, these celebrities have taken a moment of their time and shared it to the victims and their families to one of the most devastating explosion in Boston, seen as act of terrorism.
Two fatalities were confirmed dead while 105 victims have been injured following the two separate explosions that rocked the Boston Marathon and sent “shockwaves across the nation” at the incident which took place near the finish line at about 2:50 p.m. Monday, April 15.
Former New Kids on the Block member, Joey McIntyre joined the marathon and caused some tremendous fears for his fans, following earlier reports that he had nearly avoided the explosion. Only after his bandmate, Donny Wahlberg took to Twitter and assured fans that he was okay, had the uproar slightly dissipated for his fans.
