NAB Private Wealth appoints top private bankers
National Australia Bank (ASX: NAB) says NAB Private Wealth has appointed two of Australia’s top private bankers from international private banks, expanding its capabilities in Australia.
Michael Parsons, former Deutsche Bank Australian private banking head has been appointed General Manager in NSW & ACT and has recruited Anna McCreery, former Credit Suisse Market Leader to join his team.
Parsons has an extensive career in investments and private wealth management, having worked with private clients at BT before becoming Invesco CEO for Australia and New Zealand.

n 2003 Parsons took over as Managing Director and Head of Deutsche Bank's Private Wealth Management Division. During his tenure he was responsible for the acquisition of HSBC’s Private Client Group in 2005. Immediately before joining NAB Private Wealth Parsons was Managing Director of First Unity, a family office style boutique wealth manager.
McCreery has been appointed Head of Private Clients at NAB Private Wealth. She has 16 years of experience in financial services and private wealth management and has worked in both Australia and Asia.
McCreery began her career at Citibank investment bank and was posted to Singapore. She then managed client portfolios at Prudential Private Bank Singapore before moving to UBS Wealth Management AG Singapore. While at UBS she built and ran the wealth manager’s Australian and New Zealand team. In 2008 McCreery joined Credit Suisse Private Bank AG Australia as Market Leader.
