Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevigne Deny Supposed Catfight Over Rihanna, 'Towards The Sun' Singer Stays Mum
Two of the hottest models today Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevigne reportedly got into a catfight over Rihanna. The fight, which took place during Paris Fashion Week, according to witnesses, involved a lot of shoving and pulling of hair. The models themselves already denied that such intense fight took place while Rihanna ignored the story.
The models who reportedly screamed at and shoved each other also denied the fight. Cara and Naomi both used their Twitter accounts to deny such a thing happened. Naomi tweeted she does not know where the story comes from and asks her followers to not believe the rumours regarding the fight. Cara backed Naomi and retweeted her post, adding that people just love creating drama over nothing. Rihanna for her part, even if reportedly the root cause of this intense fight between the models, stayed mum over the whole thing.
On Tuesday, Page Six reports that Naomi and Cara got into an intense fight because of their mutual friend Rihanna. According to an eyewitness, Naomi accused Cara that she was disrespecting Rihanna and pushed her. Cara did not take the shove lightly and pushed back. Cara also got hold of Naomi’s weave and pulled. However, the weave did not come off.
Another source confirmed that it was Naomi who started the fight. The more seasoned model was said to be ranting like there is no tomorrow, resulting into a rowdy pushing match. The source also said Cara did not understand half of what Naomi was accusing her of since she and Rihanna are currently in good terms. The source said Cara could be overheard telling Naomi to get away from her.
One person at the event however denied the cat fight, like the models did. Naomi was on the event interacting with Dakota Fanning, Cara, and Lily Donaldson but no pushing and shoving happened. The source said the place was jam-packed so any pushing might be because there was no space. “Naomi didn’t do anything wrong. We are talking about a very tiny club in Paris with a very busy table -- if someone pushes someone, it’s because there is no space,” the source said.
