W magazine's October 2014 issue is entitled "The New Royals," where they featured the leading ladies in the entertainment industry, from models, actresses and to talk show hosts. Naomi Campbell is one of these "royalties," bagging the fashion title of "Classic Royalty."

In her cover photo, the supermodel looked very 1960s' glam, sporting doll baby lashes and a frock. E! Online criticized the photo for bad photoshop, but fans do not necessarily agree. In her spread, Naomi provided a short piece on what she thinks of new girls today, especially those working towards her "supermodel" title. Unfortunately, Naomi does not think highly of them and even call them "skinny clothes hangers."

"I don't understand the new girls now. Fashion has really changed-it went from being a small group to very global and very corporate. Back in the day, we got to know the designers personally and we tried to reinforce their vision. The new girls don't have that anymore; they are merely skinny clothes hangers. I like a little swag in a girl's walk on the runway. It is called a 'show,' after all." Issues of supermodels these days being too thin are not new. Critics on their effects on regular girls' self esteem are sometimes, even deafening.

Naomi obviously loves having a good relationship with the people she works with. Aside from the designers, she also likes working well with photographers. She once said she trusts her photographers completely when it comes to her pictures. She also has absolute respect for their craft and ingenuity. She shared that she wants the artistry that her photographers bring to the table so she cannot be too controlling of how her photos should turn out.

On "The Wendy Williams Show", she shared, "Basically, I do the picture out of trust with the photographer. I'm not one of the type of models that looks at the screen to see what do I look like, do I love the picture? It's not up to me. I base my relationship on my guys that I work with, on the photographers that choose me to work for publication on trust."
