NASCAR News: Daytona 500 To Feature Kid Rock
Kid Rock is all set to grace the Daytona 500 festivities in NASCAR. The Daytona International Speedway announced on Friday that Kid Rock, a veteran musician and artist, who is a big NASCAR fan.
The appearance of Kid Rock on NASCAR will be one of his first performances to promote a new album due February 2015. He is expected to perform in the pre-race event on Feb. 22, 2015 the carrier single for the album, “First Kiss” one of the 11 tracks in the new album under Warner Brothers Records. Past hits by Kid Rock are "Bawitdaba", "Cowboy" and "Only God Knows Why” and "American Bad Ass”, among others. Other performers who graced NASCAR events in the past were Lenny Kravitz, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Zac Brown Band, Tim McGraw, Bon Jovi and Keith Urban.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, has also started promoting his upcoming album via social media Twitter.

The 2015 NASCAR Season begins on Feb. 14, 2015 with the Daytona Sprint Unlimited race followed by the Daytona Duel on Feb. 19 and Daytona on Feb. 22. The last three champions in the last three NASCAR seasons are Dodge’s Brad Keselowski (2012) and Chevrolet’s Jimmie Johnson (2013) and Kevin Harvick (2014).
