The black swan inside Natalie Portman has been awakened.

No, there is no sequel to the mysterious and highly homoerotic psychological masterpiece that is known as "Black Swan". Portman is only using the dancing skills she learned from her 8-hours-a-day training that prepared her for the role for her Miss Dior fragrance shoot.

"The 31-year-old actress appeared to be drawing on her ballet training to shoot her new Miss Dior fragrance campaign in the Jardins du Palais Royal, Paris last month," reports The Daily Mail about the Academy Award winning actress and her still flawless ballet moves.

"Standing in the middle of a fountain swathed in a stunning black strapless silk couture gown, the star looked gorgeous and graceful as did several poses for the camera," continues the Daily Mail.

The new commercial takes inspiration from the famous fountain scene from Fellini's "La Dolce Vita", where Portman's arm is stretched up toward the sky, with her looking all dramatic and dreamy with a very picturesque background.

Natalie Portman first started out as an actress in the film "Leon: The Professional" alongside Jean Reno. Although of Israeli descent, she grew up in New York, where she still lives today. "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" was also a big break for her, and then everything, as they say is history. some of her known movies include "Garden State", "V for Vendetta", "My Blueberry Nights" and "New York, I Love You", where she also directed one of the segments.

First announced as the face of Miss Dior last December 2010, she recently came back from a hiatus after giving birth to her son, Aleph. Aleph came into existence after winning the Best Actress Award during last year's Oscars.

"The dance training for Black Swan started a year before the film, with two hours a day," said Natalie in an interview last year, as reported by The Daily Mail, wherein she had to dance for two hours, then five hours, until it was jacked up to eight hours a day for months just to get her body in shape for the role.

Of course, the hardwork and training was not in vain, as she was not only awarded a son, she was also given an Oscar for the said role.

Soon enough, the 31-year-old actress will soon be seen around as the face of Miss Dior.
